English: The sinking of the liner Lusitania presented by the French weekly Le Miroir May 23, 1915. The drawing shows the information provided at the time of two torpedoes fired. The anti-German commentary speaks of a "crime".
Rough translation of the text: The sinking of the Lusitania, long premeditated by Germany, caused in the civilized world total disapproval. Without success, our enemies, who openly welcome this unprecedented package, sent to the United States hypocritical condolences. The opinion of the neutral countries validates the verdict of the English jury that convicted murder the Kaiser and his accomplices. These accomplices are not only members of the German government prepared the crime and the officers of the submarine who implemented; it is also the Count Bernstorff, German Ambassador to the United States, who had foretold the fate of the Lusitania, and Mr. Dernburg; unofficial ambassador, attempting to justify the heinous crime committed against passages almost all neutral, stating that the ship was armed and converted into an auxiliary cruiser.
