Бенджамін Лінкольн Робінсон (англ. Benjamin Lincoln Robinson; 8 листопада 1864 — 27 липня 1935) — американський ботанік та міколог.

Біографія

Бенджамін Лінкольн Робінсон народився 8 листопада 1864 року у Блумінгтоні, штат Іллінойс. У 1887 році він здобув ступінь бакалавра в Гарвардському університеті. 29 червня 1887 року одружився із Маргарет Луїс Кассон і пара подорожувала по Європі. Він вивчав анатомію рослин та здобув ступінь доктора філософії в Страсбурзькому університеті в 1889 році. Восени 1890 Робінсон з дружиною повернулися до Сполучених Штатів.

У 1891 році Робінсон став помічником Серено Вотсона, куратора гербарію Гарвардського університету. Після смерті Вотсона в 1892 році, Робінсон був призначений на посаду куратора. Він був редактором журналу ботанічного клубу Нової Англії Rhodora в 1899—1928 роках.

Він зробив значний внесок у ботаніку, описавши багато видів рослин .

Бенджамін Лінкольн Робінсон помер 27 липня 1935 року.
