Комп'ютерна музика

Комп'ютерна музика (англ. Computer music) — термін, який спочатку використовувався в колі фахівців-професіоналів для позначення галузі інженерних розробок, пов'язаних з цифровим синтезом музичних звуків, цифровою обробкою звукових сигналів, цифрової записом різних сонорних структур і т. д.

Зараз термін часто використовується багатьма музикантами та слухачами стосовно будь-якої музики, яка створюється за допомогою тих чи інших музично-комп'ютерних технологій.
