Потсдамська конференція

Потсдамська конференція — конференція глав урядів СРСР, США, Великобританії. На ній прийняте рішення про денаціфікацію, демілітаризацію, демократизацію Німеччини та її поділ на чотири зони окупації, вступ СРСР у війну проти Японії та інші питання. Від імені глав урядів Великобританії, США, Китаю була виголошена Потсдамська декларація 1945 р., яка вимагала капітуляції Японії. Японський уряд відхилив цю вимогу. 2 серпня Потсдамська конференція завершила свою роботу.
