English: A digital representation of the coat of arms of Somerville-MacAlister of Loup and Kennox. This illustration was created for Clans of Scotland project of English-speaking Wikipedia. The blazon used was: "Quarterly: 1st, arg. a lion rampant gu. 2nd, or, and armed arm couped at the elbow fessways, the hand towards the dexter holding a cross crosslet fitchee gu. 4th, arg. a lymphad or ancient galley, sails furled and oars in action, sa. 3rd, vert, a fish radiant in fess arg". The source of the blazon is A Genealogical and Heraldic History of the Commoners of Great Britain and Ireland, volume 3, by John Burke, published in 1835.
