Romeriida — клада рептилій, що складається з діапсидів і вимерлого роду Paleothyris, якщо не всієї родини Protorothyrididae. Romeriida філогенетично визначена Laurin & Reisz (1995) як останній загальний предок Paleothyris і діапсидів, а також усіх його нащадків^[1]. Він названий на честь Альфреда Ромера, видатного палеонтолога хребетних тварин XX століття^[2].
