The ontological foundations of everything according to theism, is metaphysically personocratic (person + krátos/ dominance). Personhood is self-caused ex precosmic nihilo and cosmogonic. David Deutsch and Max Tegmark are wrong on the mathematical foundations of any possible ontology. The foundations of any substantiality/actuality (and of everything itself) - according theism - is supernatural/ unmathmatical/ personal and not impersonal/ unprocedural/ nonmechanistic. But supernatural/ unmathmatical/ personal and not impersonal/ unprocedural/ nonmechanistic ontology not only cannot be rigorously and scientifically experienced according to science and physicalism; but it doesn't create any ontology in the first place. According to most theism the dead think without a brain. True theists reject neuroscience, or deem it incomplete without to provide a replacement theory. Theists reject mathematical pre-Big-Bang theories and spatiotemporal foundations. Theists reject the chemical abiogenesis/ chemical emergence of life. In order to be a better scientist and philosopher, you have to replace with better specifics the ones you reject. Theists are metaphysical personocrats: they deem personhood omnidominant (dominant over everything/omni-). Theists are unethical people, because they reject the idea of the death of their ego, because their goal is not to get sad, and not to understand the cosmos as it is. Theists try to make the world compatible to their needs, but all they do is they create a biased misinterpretation of it. Warriors of freedom aren't afraid to die. Honesty, rigirous causal analysis and education is more ethical than saving one's ass eternally.
