English: Pictured - Haval H9 SUV. Haval is the newest brand to entre the Australia market from China, not with one SUV, but with 3 at the same time, the H2, H8 and the H9 and another one is being released in early 2016, the H6.

The H9, which looks very similar to the Toyota Prado, is the largest SUV from the brand and is only offered with a 2.0L petrol engine. With no diesel option in sight, the Haval brand will struggle to sell many of these.

While the 'dieselgate' saga seems to have effected Volkswagen sales this month, down 6%, the first time sales have gone backwards since December 2014, with most of that coming from falling sales of the Tiguan, Caddy, Transporter and Amarok, Skoda sales were up 16% and Audi enjoyed a 26% sales increase, both seem not to be effected at this stage.

Jeep sales continue to slide in spectacular fashion! This time last year, they were selling up a storm and were pushing for a Top 10 finish with 3,000 sales on a monthly basis. Now they're selling half that and look set to fall to the bottom of the Top 20. Jeep and Fiat are experiencing bad publicity due to constant recalls of their vehicles month after month and with some owners wanting Jeep to buy their 'lemon' vehicles back.
