I am an admin on English wiki. I have blocked en:User:Tiranious and en:User:Bamshadan on the English wikipedia as socks of en:User:Artaxerex, who has just returned after a year's ban.[1] My user page en:User:Tyrenius (global account). Thank you, Tiranious. Seems this is a controversial issue in some quarters, judging by some of the acrimonious comments on the :en article's talk page. Personally, I have no problem with keeping the article in its present form as we have few women artists and even fewer Iranian/Muslim artists. The general consensus on other wikipedias seems to be "keep" rather than "delete". She would appear to be at least as noteworthy as many other contemporary artists with articles on the English wikipedia. Best wishes, Anatiomaros 17:17, 5 Ionawr 2009 (UTC)

What we usually do, in the case of authors and artists whose work has at least some real exposure in the press, is to retain a short article and add a link to our page Vicipaedia:Propaganda. • . I am not sure why MoiraMoira is doing what he is doing. There are of course certain elements that try to stop and censor this artist. Fortunately, many wikis have not accepted MoiraMoira's innuendo (German, Swedish, Latin, and few more). He has been successful to censor her in Italian, Spanish, and French Wikis (although some liberal admins have offered other sites for example see here [4]).

  Дякую за Ваші коментарі, але тут не арбітраж для старих конфліктів, а причиною вилучення статті є не стільки значимість, скільки її просто жалюгідний стан. Недоліки статті зазначені — їх аж 7 — від автоперекладу до браку джерел. Після їх усунення можна буде про щось вести мову — NickK 07:50, 19 січня 2009 (UTC)

  Thanks for your comments, but we are not the arbitration for old conflicts, and the reason of deletion is not just the notability, but the fact that the article is just terrible, it has at least 7 problems from machine translation to the lack of sources. • Thank you very much NickK. I understand that the article has many problems, and because of those it can be deleted. I am glad that you have mentioned " If anyone improves the article, it will be possible to keep it". This is very important principle and very courageous statement. Because of what you have written so clearly, Moiramoira and his friends hopefully will now understand that they cannot intimidate people any longer. Moiramoira was banned by Dirk Beetstra, because of adding promotional staff himself in the English Wiki [6] and [7]. He and his fanatic friends are unhappy why this artist paints nude women with horse, or flying over city. It is always very reassuring that in this world there are open minded democrats like you who do not easily yield to this kind of censorship and intimidation. --Tiranious 02:35, 20 січня 2009 (UTC)

  Well, it's not my problem who created this article and what conflicts you have on English Wikipedia. Our problem is that we have a terrible machine translation with questionable notability. About MoiraMoira: I could not find when she was blocked and why, however he hlped fighting spam here a few month ago. I have nothing against flying horses, but we can't tolerate machine translations (we have 3 new just in 3 days, that's too much) — NickK 10:35, 20 січня 2009 (UTC)

  Не наша проблема в тому, які конфлікти авторів у англійській Вікіпедії, наша проблема в тому, що ми маємо жахливий машинний переклад з сумнівною значимістю. • You are absolutely right, and we sincerely appologize. A lot of us love Ukraine, and wish to contribute in this marvelous language. Unfortunately, that is not always possible. About Moiramoira and warning to her conducts/ sock puppetry please see the warning here: [8]. It appears that her modus operandi together with questionable conducts of her friends is rather sophisticated. She has gone inside my own user discussion page in nl-wiki and removed my objections to her conduct(something considered very bizarre, even by a Dutch editor in the above reference.) Her friends have deleted some referenced articles and books in order to delete some facts about the undemocratic practices in Iran (see the Reza Shah, and Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, Dr. Hassan Arsanjani articles, White Revolution and many other articles in English and French wiki). Nevertheless, my friends and I who have been students of this artist more than thirty years ago (and are somewhat upset of her treatment in the hands of fanatics of our country)would like to thank you for this civil exchange. It's not my work to find out who was right and who was not, if you have big problems, ask for mediation or arbitration on enWikior somewhere else.
