GoogleTrans gadget can do machine translation on Content Translation system
Hi there,
You can try out the GoogleTrans gadget content translation feature. You enable the gadget in your destination wiki (see [[1]] and [[2]] for help on this). The Yandex translation engine is supported now if you select it in the language change box of the gadget. Once the gadget is set in the common.js file of your destination wiki, you can select a paragraph in the middle column of the content translation system (the paragraph to be translated), hold the CTRL and ALT keys down at the same time. Then the paragraph will be translated to the destination wiki language and the HTML markup will be kept. This aids in translation. I have done 75 simple French articles to English this way.
You can translate, using the Yandex translation engine, from Russian to Ukranian, vice versa. In fact any of the language pairs supported by Yandex or Google are possible.
