Генрі Жиру́ (англ. Henry Giroux; 18 вересня 1943, Провіденс, Род Айленд, США) — американський і канадський вчений, педагог, культурний критик. Один із головних теоретиків критичної педагогіки, в США він є відомим завдяки новаторству в громадській педагогіці, культурології, ювенології, вищій освіті, медіа-дослідженнях і в критичній теорії.

Книга видавництва Раутледж «50 модерних мислителів-освітян: від Піаже до сьогодні» (Fifty Modern Thinkers on Education: From Piaget to the Present Day, 2002) містить статтю про Жиру[2].

Працював учителем суспільствознавства в Баррінгтоні, Род-Айленд протягом шести років.
