Pachydactylus — рід геконоподібних ящірок родини геконових (Gekkonidae). Представники цього роду мешкають в Південній Африці.
Товстопалі гекони — це невеликі ящірки, довжина яких (без врахування хвоста) варіюється від 25 до 115 мм. Вони вирізнаються широкими кінчиками пальців, наявність клейких подушечок на яких залежить від середовища проживання різних представників роду: ті товстопалі гекони, що живуть серед скель, мають клейкі подушечки на пальцях, а ті, що живуть в піску і ведуть риючий спосіб життя, зокрема P. rangei, втратили їх.
Товстопалі гекони живуть серед скель і піска, трапляються поблизу людських поселень. Вони ведуть нічний спосіб життя, живляться переважно членистоногими, іноді дрібними хребетними.

Наукова назва роду Pachydactylus походить від сполучення слів дав.-гр. παχυς — великий, товстий і δακτυλος — палець[4].
